Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, IoT, and biotech
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with research institutions and startups in frontier tech domains
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their impact on product development
- Author thought leadership papers on future technology adoption patterns
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Strong data modeling and market forecasting capabilities
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, CSTE)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
