Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 18-36 month adoption cycles
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future tech strategies into corporate financial planning
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to investors and board members
- Mentor emerging tech talent through our Future Leaders incubator program
- Author annual 'Technology Horizon' whitepapers establishing industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
- Portfolio demonstrating successful large-scale tech implementation ($50M+ projects)
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology governance frameworks (TOGAF)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal within last 5 years
