Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy positioning InnovateTech as the industry leader for 2026 innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 5+ year market potential
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for cutting-edge collaboration
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and technology forecasting
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining tech products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, sustainable tech
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
