Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, IoT, Web3) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions and geopolitical shifts
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching disruptive technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with strategic planning frameworks (e.g., horizon scanning, SWOT analysis)
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
