Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and geopolitical impacts on emerging tech adoption
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Drive cultural transformation to embed future-readiness across all departments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Strategy, or Innovation Management (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
