Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead discovery initiatives for emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into core offerings
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Manage a $5M+ annual innovation budget with vendor and partner ecosystems
- Author thought leadership pieces on the future of technology in industry-specific journals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record of launching future-facing technologies (quantum/AI/IoT) to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, biotech, or AI governance
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., foresight methodology) or advanced degree in Technology Management
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience scaling global technology innovation programs across 3+ regions
