Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI development and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record leading complex technology transformations in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum, biotech, AI, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Strong executive presence and ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certifications in Strategic Innovation or Technology Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercialization projects
