Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 business objectives and market trends
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess their commercial viability
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to accelerate prototyping and adoption of breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to foster collaboration between engineers, designers, and business units
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory changes to ensure strategic compliance and opportunity capture
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts to cultivate cutting-edge expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; advanced degree or MBA strongly preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully launching tech-driven products or services with $50M+ impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex tech trends into business value
- Experience with scenario planning, technology forecasting methodologies, and market analysis frameworks
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or futurism (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
