Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-24 month implementation milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to prototype and scale emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling business cases and stakeholder presentations
- Establish innovation governance frameworks ensuring ethical deployment of disruptive technologies
- Drive industry thought leadership through white papers, patents, and keynote speaking engagements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching commercialized AI/quantum/biotech solutions with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Certified in AI Governance (e.g., CAG) and Quantum Computing Architecture (e.g., IBM Q)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful transformation of futuristic concepts into scalable products
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (e.g., CHIPS Act, NSF SBIR)
