Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps integrating emerging innovations (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives exploring next-gen applications in healthcare, energy, and logistics
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026-2030 market potential
- Develop patent strategies and IP frameworks for breakthrough innovations
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and acquire transformative startups
- Present technology visions to executive boards and investor forums
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech sectors
- Proven track record launching at least three breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future-facing technologies
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in technology forecasting (e.g., Foresight Pro) or equivalent
