Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap aligning with market disruption predictions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough innovations (quantum, AI, bio-tech)
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-impact future-tech innovation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech systems
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (2019-2025)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite/board levels
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
