Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, Web4.0)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with research labs and innovation ecosystems
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor competitive tech landscapes and patent trends
- Build and mentor a team of futurist technologists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
