Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives targeting $1B+ market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Develop patent portfolios and IP monetization strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Present findings to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
- Monitor global tech trends and geopolitical impacts on innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in launching 3+ commercialized AI/quantum products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum algorithms, synthetic biology
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in venture capital or government grants
