What You'll Achieve:
As the strategic backbone of our R&D division, you'll identify breakthrough opportunities in quantum computing, AI ethics, and immersive tech while leading cross-functional initiatives that turn futuristic concepts into scalable products. You'll partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with market trends and develop patent-pending frameworks for next-gen digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap, including AI governance frameworks and quantum computing integration
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, spatial computing) and assess commercial viability
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for ethical AI deployment and human-centric tech design
- Direct cross-functional R&D sprints with robotics, blockchain, and biotech teams
- Present future tech forecasts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for co-innovation
- Lead 'Technology Impact Assessment' initiatives for new product launches
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record of commercializing emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, spatial computing, or synthetic biology
- MBA/MS in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar-tier tech journals
- Strong understanding of global tech policy landscape (EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams (US/EU/Asia)
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech concepts to diverse audiences
