Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in emerging tech domains
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and external investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor relationships
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across global operations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale tech budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder management
- Certifications in technology strategy (e.g., CTO, CIO, or innovation management) preferred
