Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for cutting-edge R&D
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level business strategies and investment proposals
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption and ROI in emerging markets
- Mentor senior engineers in future-proof system design and ethical technology implementation
- Author thought leadership publications on industry disruption vectors and countermeasures
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML systems from prototype to enterprise deployment
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech conferences
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFM) or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience leading budgets exceeding $50M in R&D initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
