Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts (2026-2030)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and emerging tech capabilities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business leaders
- Champion R&D initiatives for breakthrough products (quantum computing, neurotech, climate solutions)
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready methodologies (scenario planning, speculative design)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio of published trend reports or innovation frameworks
- Experience scaling innovation teams in fast-paced tech environments
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFP, WFS) preferred
