Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough business models
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into tangible product roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings on future trends and competitive disruption risks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to embed future-ready mindsets across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership in future trends or innovation strategy
- Experience with emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
