Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026 market positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a horizon-scanning ecosystem of industry experts and academic partners
- Quantify strategic risks and opportunities using predictive modeling tools
- Author thought leadership publications on future-shaping technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP from APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-shaping work
