Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) impacting our industry by 2026
- Develop innovation frameworks that bridge futuristic concepts with practical business applications
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present trend forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to shape industry discourse
- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning FutureVision Labs as a 2026 thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal/economic implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and quantitative trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
