Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum AI, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and KPI optimization
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout emerging startups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFP) preferred
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
