Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead executive workshops on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications
- Create quantitative innovation roadmaps with KPIs for R&D investment allocation
- Establish 'Future Radar' intelligence system to monitor weak signals and disruption vectors
- Collaborate with product teams to embed foresight into development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership reports on technology convergence and societal impact
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Represent company at global innovation summits and foresight forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D innovation, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi method, and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their convergence
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (e.g., MFTR, CSSF)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures publications
