Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to identify emerging technologies
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through advanced modeling and simulation
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring teams on future-thinking methodologies
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFIP) strongly preferred
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
