Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a trend intelligence ecosystem using AI-driven analytics and human expert networks
- Present executive-level future outlook reports with quantified impact assessments
- Champion design thinking methodologies for next-generation user experiences
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlook or innovation strategy work
