Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory shifts
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Produce strategic briefings for executive board on disruptive threats and opportunities
- Build scenario-planning models for global supply chain resilience and workforce evolution
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities into development lifecycles
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Proven ability to translate complex foresight into executable business strategies
- Certification in futures research (e.g., CFTR, APF) or innovation methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep network within global innovation ecosystems (startups, VCs, academia)
