Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, market shifts, and sociocultural patterns to forecast 2026+ landscape
- Develop strategic frameworks for innovation adoption across product development and operations
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive market forces
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future insights into organizational strategy
- Author thought leadership publications on industry transformation
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management
- Experience with horizon scanning and technology roadmapping
