Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast industry impacts by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing opportunities
- Produce trend reports and whitepapers that influence executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026+ challenges
- Establish innovation metrics to track progress against future-state goals
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience presenting complex concepts to executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Oxford)
