Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies including neural interfaces and decentralized systems
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups pioneering 2026 breakthroughs
- Create scenario planning models for disruptive market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists and build our internal foresight methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology consulting with proven track record
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on innovation strategy
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives launched to market
