Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, social shifts, and market disruptors through 2026-2030 horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing products/services
- Present trend forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and technology incubators for early-stage innovation
- Mentor teams in future-thinking methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic innovation, R&D, or trend analysis within tech/consulting
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products or business models
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or futurist.org)
