Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and synthesize actionable insights for executive leadership
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market disruption
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for future uncertainties and opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to validate emerging technologies and prioritize investments
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at industry conferences
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation, or foresight roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-disrupting initiatives
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Published author in futures or innovation publications
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
