Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological shifts, and socio-economic indicators to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate market evolution and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation initiatives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Present compelling scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership pieces and industry trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, market research, or trend analysis at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success through product/service launches
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and quantitative/qualitative trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist frameworks and strategic outputs delivered to leadership
- Global mindset with experience in cross-cultural trend analysis
