Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, market signals, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable innovation
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and business strategy
- Present evidence-based future scenarios to executive stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs to scout emerging talent
- Monitor KPIs for strategic initiatives and adapt frameworks based on real-time trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 7+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Professional certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
