Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate future insights into innovation roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Design and facilitate future-back workshops with executive leadership to align organizational strategy
- Produce high-impact deliverables including trend reports, innovation briefs, and strategic foresight narratives
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across departments to embed future-readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or corporate foresight with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities and product innovations
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and futures research methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures narratives to diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals/conferences
