Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and socio-economic trends to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market transformations using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Design innovation blueprints that integrate exponential technologies with human-centric design principles
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business units to translate foresight into tangible initiatives
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future-of-work implications and competitive positioning
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track paradigm-shifting research
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent certification
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation leadership with demonstrated impact
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-oriented projects with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology convergence mapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis) and data visualization platforms
