Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market shifts
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Collaborate with R&D to align innovation portfolios with future market needs
- Lead cross-functional workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and strategic recommendations
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, sustainability)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
