Responsibilities
- Architect and execute horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for emerging innovations (AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Lead strategic workshops with executive teams to align organizational roadmaps with future realities
- Produce forward-looking reports and whitepapers on industry transformation pathways
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate future insights into product development and go-to-market strategies
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or thought leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, energy)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future visions to stakeholders
- Experience leading strategic initiatives with measurable impact on business growth
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist work (reports, scenarios, strategic frameworks)
