Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to model future market disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough technologies and commercialization pathways
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against future-state goals
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurism consulting
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, CFS) strongly preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep understanding of global geopolitical and socioeconomic drivers of change
