Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 5+ year business horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating foresight into prototype concepts and MVPs
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Architect the company's 2026 innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs and governance structures
- Mentor innovation teams in applying foresight methodologies to product development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and published foresight work
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or innovation management required
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 foresight-to-strategy implementations
