Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation framework, aligning with corporate vision and market forecasts
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive business models
- Champion 'Future Labs' - collaborative workshops with stakeholders to prototype and validate forward-looking solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs
- Present compelling innovation roadmaps to executive leadership and investors
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and KPI monitoring
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 tech trends and societal impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex scenarios and risk assessments
- Published author or keynote speaker on technology trends or innovation strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
