Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product/service strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic innovation insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Mentor teams in design thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services based on future trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Proficiency in innovation management tools (e.g., Trello, Miro, Notion) and data visualization platforms
