Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain scenario planning frameworks for strategic decision-making under uncertainty
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on future-of-work and industry transformation
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for intelligence gathering
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling and scenario stress-testing
- Advise C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning in rapidly evolving ecosystems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients on transformational strategy
