Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market signals, and socioeconomic shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making across 5 business units
- Produce annual Future State Reports synthesizing global trends into actionable strategic priorities
- Facilitate executive workshops on disruptive innovation and paradigm shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Establish quantitative/qualitative KPIs for tracking future-readiness across the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful long-term strategy implementation
- Deep knowledge of AI, biotech, climate tech, and human augmentation trends
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
