Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, social shifts, and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop long-term scenario models and innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight research into actionable business strategies
- Partner with product teams to integrate future trends into product development lifecycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and influence high-level decision-making
- Monitor horizon scanning outputs and maintain a living repository of future-critical intelligence
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in strategy, innovation consulting, or future studies role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented through foresight
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) preferred
- Experience in tech, healthcare, or sustainability sectors highly valued
