Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making and board-level presentations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Author high-impact thought leadership for industry publications and internal strategic whitepapers
- Establish foresight metrics to track predictive accuracy and strategy effectiveness
- Curate external partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Embed foresight methodologies into product development cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports with measurable industry impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic predictions
