Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership, creating data-driven future-state roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and media engagements
- Design and manage a global innovation pipeline with $10M+ annual budget allocation
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and strategy consultants
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech focus)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling frameworks
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
- Ability to translate complex concepts into compelling stakeholder narratives
