You'll lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, behavioral economists, and industry disruptors while representing FutureWorks at global forums like Davos and World Economic Summits.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ by synthesizing global megatrends, technological forecasts, and behavioral analytics
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for disruptive events and black swan scenarios
- Produce quarterly Future State Reports with quantified impact assessments on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Design and implement strategic foresight frameworks using Delphi methods, horizon scanning, and agent-based modeling
- Chair the 2026 Innovation Council, allocating resources to exponential growth initiatives
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and investors with data-driven risk/reward analyses
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic plans
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, nanotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Gartner Hype Cycle, SWOT 2.0)
