Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technological, societal, and market trends with 3-5 year foresight horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for 2026+ product roadmaps and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed futurist insights into R&D and product development cycles
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex foresight data into executive-ready reports and actionable recommendations
- Champion innovation culture through thought leadership and internal futurist education programs
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends impacting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, System Dynamics)
