Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps using AI-driven trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Lead quarterly foresight workshops with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Author white papers on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Design innovation frameworks for emerging markets in Web3 and biotech
- Manage a $2M annual R&D portfolio for future-focused initiatives
- Present at global conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.) representing Horizon's vision
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and data scientists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Journal of Futures Studies)
- Proficiency in trend forecasting tools (Gartner, Forrester, proprietary AI platforms)
- Experience building corporate venture arms or innovation labs
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech commercializations
- Certification in Scenario Planning or Technology Impact Assessment
