Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological, economic, and societal trends impacting our industry through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align on future vision
- Author annual 'Horizon Report' on emerging technologies and their business implications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Champion ethical innovation principles in all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record developing and implementing long-term strategic plans
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
