Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AGI, quantum computing, neurotech) and their business implications through horizon scanning and trend synthesis
- Develop long-term strategic frameworks spanning 5-10 years, aligning with organizational vision and market evolution
- Lead scenario planning workshops for board-level stakeholders, translating complex futures into actionable roadmaps
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Establish cross-functional innovation incubators to accelerate future-critical projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and futures methodologies
- Deep technical fluency in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech domains
- Exceptional ability to distill complex concepts into executive-level narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (HBR, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in agile innovation environments
